Electrical Safety — Authorization Groups II and III

Who should attend:
- Electrical and electrotechnological personnel.
- Electricians and specialists servicing electrical equipment.
- Employees working on electrical installations as part of their job duties.

Training objective:
To provide essential knowledge of electrical safety, safe operation of electrical installations, and prevention of electrical injuries, and to prepare participants for the knowledge assessment required to obtain or confirm authorization groups II and III.

Frequency:
- Knowledge assessments for electrical and electrotechnological personnel are conducted at least once a year.
- For certain categories of managers and specialists, assessments are conducted at least once every three years.
- Extraordinary knowledge assessments take place in cases prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Training duration:
Determined by the training program, taking into account the authorization group, qualifications, and job responsibilities.

Training format:
- In-person or remote theoretical training.
- Preparation for electrical safety knowledge assessment.

Program content:
- Fundamentals of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on electrical safety.
- Rules for the technical operation of electrical installations.
- Safety requirements when working with electrical equipment.
- Effects of electric current on the human body.
- Use of personal and collective protective equipment.
- Safe working methods in electrical installations.
- Actions in emergencies and in the event of electric shock.
- First aid for injured persons.
- Requirements for personnel holding authorization groups II and III.

Training outcomes:
- Preparation for a qualification-based electrical safety knowledge assessment.
- Award or confirmation of the relevant authorization group following a successful assessment under the prescribed procedure.
- Documentation of training and assessment results in accordance with applicable requirements.
